Ceramic coatings are the pinnacle of paint protection technologies, providing heightened scratch resistance and longer durability expectations – when compared with traditional protection like car waxes.
The chemical sio2 (silica or silicone dioxide) forms a strong latticed bond with painted surfaces, as well as unpainted plastics and PPF Paint Protection Film. In other words, the water is rejected due to a highly hydrophobic surface (ability to repel water), resulting in water beading and sheeting. This means that your car is essentially easier to clean and remains cleaner for longer from a maintenance perspective.
In addition, ceramic coatings have the benefit of increased scratch resistance and many hardening to 9H on the pencil hardness scale – giving your vehicle the best fighting chance against the elements. A coating must still be maintained regularly to ensure it works to optimum.
All the prices below are extra, on top of any necessary prerequisite work on the Detailing Services page. The paint surface needs to be correctly prepared and most importantly MUST be as close to defect free as humanly possible (95%+) before installation of the ceramic coating.

All of the above ceramic coatings have there specific durability and scratch resistance variances. Adam Jeffrey Car Care & Detailing will be able to match you up with the correct paint protection offering. Whether that is our entry level sealant or you opt for a ceramic coating upgrade.
Any vehicle that is not new opting for ceramic coatings would have to be appraised / quoted first hand in order to ascertain the detailing service level required, prior to installation.
